AMM Ltd. was founded in 1998. The key personnel now include Larry Dillon, John Cooper, Christopher Pickard and Simon Ward, all of whom are well known in the international travel & tourism community for their skills in destination management, sales, marketing, media and PR.

Larry Dillon, the founder and managing director of AMM, has spent most of his carreer in managerial positions within the travel sector and airline industry. His understanding of the travel business extends across marketing, sales, promotions and PR, with special expertise in stragetic planning, media negotiations and consumer direct marketing.

In 1996-7 Larry played an instrumental role in establishing the travel industry marketing, PR, communication structure for the founding members of the Star Alliance airline network – Lufthansa, United Airlines, Air Canada, SAS, VARIG, Thai Airways, and Air New Zealand. This was followed by the further creation, planning and implementation of a wide-range of PR/Marketing activities, promotions, events, exhibitions and campaigns for a both a consumer and trade audience.

Now after further marketing/PR agency experience, Larry operates comfortably across a broad range of industry sectors including travel publishing, retail, and good causes.

John Cooper has had over 35 years in the travel & tourism industry, with varied positions at senior managerial level. John has considerable experience in the sales and marketing of travel products, considered by many as his forte’. He has worked throughout the world representing the airline and hotel industries, operating in South Africa, Australasia, Middle East, South East Asia and the Caribbean. He also has extensive experience throughout European markets, developing and contracting programmes with major tour operators.

With considerable experience in the development of destinations and travel product, John has worked for and with major international airlines like Qantas, along with hotels, resorts and operators such as the Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers, Jetway Express - Hong Kong and Hamilton Island Resort - Barrier Reef.

More recently John has worked on projects with renowned and well established hotel groups in the Caribbean as well as strategic initiatives for the Tobago House of Assembly that resulted in the increase of UK arrivals to the islands from 53,000 annually to over 100,000 in a three-year period.

As a leading industry figure within the tourism sector, John has had close and long-standing affiliations with the Far Eastern market, including seven years on the U.K. committee of PATA. And in addition, strong links with the committees responsible for Caribbean tourism in the UK and Netherlands - the CTO and CHA.

John continues to establish and develop client interests with industry contacts - major airlines and tour operators in the UK & Ireland and around Europe.
